“i feel so inspired now, i forgot how much your positivity affects me. i feel so great.” -Note from Teen Client

Hi, I’m Julia Sarewitz. I am a career teacher and I am passionate about guiding kids and teens on the path toward confidence, resilience, and joyfulness.

I teach people the tools they need to hear their inner voice so that they may confidently speak their authentic outer voice.

I have a Masters of Psychology in Education from Columbia University, where I developed this one-of-a-kind and effective wellness program for kids and teens.

I am passionate about JOY, and know that we all have it in us! It’s not always easy to grow up (honestly, it’s not supposed to be), but it definitely can be made EASIER. Let’s make joy happen more often.

The Process

At Find Your Voice, I teach kids and teens research-backed tools that support wellness, identity formation, resilience, and positive mindset through one-on-one personal mentorship sessions.

Each 60-minute session includes a 15-minute follow-up conversation with you, the parent, to provide suggestions and tools that you can use to support your child or teen. Not only will your child become more empowered but you will too, thanks to the easy-to-use tips and tools that I provide you in follow-up sessions.

After working with me, your child or teen will have lifelong wellness skills and a sense of agency over their wellbeing, and you will feel better equipped to support them.

The Curriculum

I returned to graduate school as a response to what I was seeing in my students as a music teacher- they were more stressed, anxious, and low in confidence than ever before- and this is where I developed the unique Find Your Voice wellness curriculum. It is research-backed and utilizes ingredients from Positive Psychology, mindfulness, Hope research, nature connectedness, breathing techniques, habit development, gratitude, VIA Character Strengths, and more… Your child or teen is one of a kind, and so is the combination of skills I teach them. The way we work on these tools will be unique to your child in order to best support their needs, interests, and desired pathway toward positive thoughts, words, and actions. These are tools that they will use for the rest of their lives.
